Fully-funded four year PhD programme in an international scientific environment

PhD Years

After passing the Qualifying Exam, students at CPR, DanStem and CBMR are expected to enroll at the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences (SUND) at the University of Copenhagen, choosing an appropriate Graduate Programme (e.g. MoMeD or the PhD Programme of Basic Metabolic Research). Students at the Center for Biosustainability are expected to enroll at the PhD School for the Center for Biosustainability and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

Students are expected to be able to transfer up to 15 ECTS credits from the pre-doc year courses. To finish the PhD, courses totaling 28-35 ECTS credits must be completed.

During the PhD years, CPH Bioscience PhD students continue to benefit from the programme, with annual programme retreats and other activities.
